Our Story
The core of what is now known as Vopla was born as part of the StreetDome project.
When Vopla founder Morten Hansen was developing StreetDome.
The vision was to design a mothership that uses both physical and digital architecture to facilitate and have an organizing role in street & outdoor sports.
The core underlying concept for StreetDome is: "Architecture can create self-organized physical activity and social meetings". StreetDome is the physical and Vopla is the digital part of the facilitation architecture.
The vision is that to authentically facilitate our cultures the facilitation solution must include digital as well as physical architecture.
Fun fact. Gadeidræt.dk was originally owned by Morten and intended for Vopla, but as part of the founding fathers of Gadeidræt, a deal was made to hand over that domain.
The old SkateCity.dk and StreetDome.dk websites were the early iterations and tests, and now, after years of study, hard work, and development the ideas matured to form Vopla.
To stand strong our digital presence is essential. If users can't find it on the internet it didn´t happen.
Our experiences should be no more than a few clicks away ...a click for each helpful auto process. Not leave it spread across the social media jungle under the spell of AI ..that´s promotion not management.
To ensure the authentic facilitation of our cultures we have to use a customized management solution. Vopla is the tool, framework, and digital solution for Street & Outdoor sports.

Vopla is a contraction of our platform in danish "Vores Platform".
An essential solution rooted in a collaboration that cultivates common values and roots between our cultures and helps us stand strong together. An authentic facilitation solution and essential management tool that is anchored in a platform to make one solution accessible for everybody.
That is why we created Vopla.
